Cause & Effect essay planning:
Causes:
  1. Car emission/exhaust/fumes
  2. Industrial factories (eg. chemical)
  3. cutting down forests
  4. rubbish- burning= C02, methane

Effects:
  1. damage to health- brain, lung, heart, eyes, skin etc
  2. enviro. damage- soil, air, water
  3. global warming leads to melting ice caps
  4. ozone damage
  5. water damage= food shortages due to less water for farming
  6. climate change
  7. extreme weather

There are three significant effects of air pollution. Firstly, it can lead to damage to serious health problems. For example, many children are affected by this type of pollution through damage to their brains, lungs, heart and eyes. In addition, asthma is a very common problem in adults who live in heavily polluted cities. Secondly, there is a lot of ozone damage due to air pollution. For instance, global warming is a result of this type of pollution. It is destroying the ozone layer through large amounts of CO2 and CO which come from cars and factories. It is predicted that this will be a serious problem of living in the future. Another problem is the affect on water. As a result of water pollution many heralth problems are created. A good example of that is people poisoned because they drink polluted water. Furthermore, this water has a neagtive effect on cattle farming which finally affects on human health.

Solutions:
  1. plant more trees
  2. use PT or ride a bicycle, not cars
  3. use cleaaner energy sources (e.g. solar)
  4. gov. introduce rules/laws for industry
  5. reduce a/c usage
  6. use power more efficiently
  7. filtration of factory emissions
  8. release useful gases to fight air pollution
  9. burn carbon completely, so CO(carbon monoxide) is not released

Identify some of the effects of air pollution on human health and present solutions to the ever growing problem of air pollution.

  • treats the whole body, not just a part of the body
  • no drugs, no surgery
Negatives:
